Vendor Spotlight :: Flora Corner Farm

There is the most amazing, new wedding venue in Southern Maryland. It's absolutely beautiful. Really, very beautiful. Did we mention it's beautiful? Well it is.

We attended a social for local wedding professionals last month and the event was hosted at Flora Corner Farm. Luckily, we had our cameras on us. So we of course took some photos of this rustic yet elegant location. We realized very quickly how special of a gem we'd found. The photo opportunities are outstanding, the venue itself is stunning and very well maintained... pristine even, and the staff is as amazing as everything else.

The best part? Besides having a new, temperature controlled, tastefully decorated barn for your reception overlooking rows of corn glowing in the sunset, almost anything you could want or need in terms of decor is already at the barn ready to be used. Diane, the owner of Flora Corner, keeps a design office in the loft of the barn. In this little wonderland of rustic and vintage wedding details, you'll find china cabinets full of mason jars, aqua blue glass vases, milk glass as far as the eye can see, burlap everywhere, table numbers, chalkboard yard signs, and linens plus other stuff we can't remember. It's like a Pinterest dream come true. And we're not kidding when we say this... everything we just listed is all yours to use. Yep, just point to what you want and it's on your guest tables. Flowers of course you'll need to provide to fill those stunning milk glass vases but you can officially skip those weekly trips to Michael's to stock up on such items. It's glorious we tell you, glorious!

So take a look...

See? Isn't it just lovely?

This would be the perfect spot for a first look.

What's that? You wish you could find a vintage chicken coop to use as a place card display? Well friend, you're in luck! Flora Corner has one! Oh, and you have always wanted vintage, shabby chic chairs for your sweetheart table? Bingo! Got those too ;)

Now this is our favorite part of the whole place. There is a vintage, claw foot tub in a cornfield. We repeat... they have a tub in a cornfield! Someone wearing a wedding dress PLEASE go get in that tub! We want to take your picture. :)

So before their 2013 (and at this rate their 2014) calendar fills up, give them a call to schedule an appointment to discuss your wedding. Then let us photograph it... pretty please ;)
