Very pleased the hotel had red chairs to go with the red theme to this wedding. Love when that happens.
We spent a few hours with the girls while they got ready, then just a few minutes before the ceremony Betty took a handful of shots of the Groom. How easy it must be to shower and throw on a tux ;)
The Limo was almost an hour late (hooray!) so Maggie took advantage of the extra time and snapped these while the Bride was waiting more patiently than a Saint.
Late limos mean extra time for toasts!
Here we go...
The only time we had for "portraits" was during the 10 minute drive to the reception. Shooting backwards over a head rest in a moving car going 70 on 695 is so fun ;)
We did force them to stand still for a total of 90 seconds to get a couple of "Thank You Card Photos" as we call them. Something parents and grandparents can appreciate. But just a couple... they had a party to get to!
We love Christmas. We love weddings. Boom.
Betty's view of the first dance...
Maggie's...
Betty caught this one of the Bride dancing with her Father (Maggie was sobbing somewhere).
It begins...
We could keep going, but must save the rest for our Bride and Groom.
We could think of no better way to end our 2012 wedding season. Juliana and Joseph, you came to us wanting pure, documentary coverage of your wedding. We had so much fun doing so and hope we met the challenge. It really brought us back to what we love so much about wedding photography.
Here's to joy, laughter and lots of dancing in your future.
