We have a new blog!

We loved our little blogger blog, in all it's free to use goodness. But lets face it, it wasn't all that pretty. So along with our new look, new logo, and new website, we threw in a new blog as well! We won't be posting here any more, instead we'll be posting HERE on our new blog! So if you've reached this post and it's the first time you're taking a look at our work, please feel free to continue to scroll through all of the previous posts on this, the old blog. You'll find lots of good stuff from our 2012 year. Then when you're done, head over to our New Blog! You'll find a link at the top of this page that will take you directly there. And please don't forget, all the information you're looking for about who we are and what we do can be found on our awesome, newly designed website.

So bye bye old blog, hello new shiny blog!

No post is complete without some photos, so we'll include some of our personal head shots we took to incorporate into our new brand. Please know how much we hated having to take our own photos. We were reminded of why we had put it off for so long. So take a good look... because we're never doing that again ;)

Oh wait just one minute...

Have we mentioned we're complete push overs and really love our couples? Well we are. We're saps. And we watched one heck of a voting showdown unfold last week. While many couples work really hard to stay in the lead it ended up coming down to two couples who were neck and neck most of the voting. In fact, it was only a handful of votes that put our second place couple out of the winning spot. So guess what? They're getting a mini engagement book! Yay! Emily and Lee will be getting a 4x4, mini engagement book perfect for showing off their engagement photos wherever they go. These little books are ADORABLE and fit into your pocket. We can't wait to design it for you two! Thanks Emily and Lee for reminding your family and friends to vote in the contest every day :)

Have a fun and safe New Years Eve everyone! We will be ringing in 2013 with lots of excitement for what it holds for us, and for all of our awesome couples. We can't wait to reveal our new look tomorrow! Eeeeeek!

Engagement Book Contest :: Final Day to Vote!

Don't forget! Today is the last day to cast your vote for your favorite engaged couple in our engagement book giveaway contest. CLICK HERE to go to the original post explaining details and instructions on how to vote on our Facebook page.

Tonight at midnight all voting will be closed. Any votes cast after midnight tonight will not count in the final tally... so get them in now!

We'll spend a few days confirming all the votes and counting them up. Then we'll announce the winners on the blog New Years's Eve day. We can't wait to see who wins! It's a good race to the finish... no one give up now!

Fa la la la la... Christmas Break

It's happening. We're actually taking a break from working. The rest of our family has declared this weekend through to next, to be a work free vacation, and they're putting their collective feet down. Do we look like we need sleep? How are those bags under our eyes? We get it, it's time to slow down for a bit. It's time to eat a bunch of cookies, gain like 5 pounds, and just relax with the family. That's our plan. So you won't see us posting anything to the blog until the end of next week or see us much on Facebook. However, we absolutely despise coming back to an overwhelming inbox, so we will be staying on top of emails throughout our time off. Of course, we may not be replying as fast as we normally do. In fact, we may actually take 24 whole hours to respond! Shocking.

While we're away, don't forget about our Engagement Book Giveaway Contest that's going on until December 28th. We'll be confirming all the votes for a few days and we'll announce the winners on New Years Eve! Then it's time to dive right into 2013 with the unveiling of our new look, new website and new blog. Yay! Right after that, we kick into full Bridal Show season. We're going to enjoy this restful week because boy, we're going to need it.

Before we go, here's a photo from Sweet Cheek's visit to see Santa. He wasn't sure about the whole thing, but he was brave and never cried. He sat on Santa's lap for all of 4 seconds... but he maintained his cool.

Wow, 2012 is going out with a bang for us! We woke up today to find we are being featured on one of the leading DC area wedding blogs. Cue air high fives and terrible happy dancing! United With Love has always been a favorite of ours, and we are beyond thrilled to have our work from Juliana and Joe's recent wedding featured on their blog today. Look for not one, but two different posts over at UWL today showcasing this beautiful Christmas wedding.

What an awesome way to end the year! Our last engagement session of 2012 turned out to be with the couple who also happens to be our first wedding of 2013. They are sweet, funny and adorably in love. Can't wait for the big day guys!
